It seems that I've regained some of my strength. I walk at 88 steps per minute and come within a block of the finish before I start to drag. It's hard to believe that a virus (or whatever) that I can't feel can cause a deterioration in my already miserable performance. For the first time in a long time I went out at 7am without a coat. Just a turtle neck and I was too warm.
When I left the moon was about 30 deg above the Western horizon and the sun was barely a glow in the East. Beautifully clear and a fairly brisk breeze. The warm Santa Ana winds are back and I'm sure they'll bring the last fires I can honestly blame on George W Bush.
Santa Ana winds always prove that we're all on this flight together.
