The weather report tells me that it is 48 degrees out but it feels more like 38. Anyway the morning walk was uneventful. A single aeroplane flew over early in the walk but then... nothing. No loose dogs and no cats, mushrooms or parrots.
Last night it rained like the dickens all night. It didn't quit until about 4am. Just in time for my walk. But I carried a bumpershoot just in case.
Reading the book on hyperspace reminded me that Michio Kaku, the author built his own particle accelerator from scratch while he was in high school for a science fair. It never occurred to me while I was in high school that that was possible. Again the question arises: What is the difference between the way Kaku's mind works and mine? It's just like building an aeroplane putting a bunch of parts together.
Or not.
Home made particle accelerators are proof that we're all on this flight together.
