I never did my walk on Saturday because I went to the Flabob airport for the EAA Chapter One open House. Airplanes of all kinds lining the taxiway, factory built and home built. Walk, walk and walk some more. I had brought my bike along to use as a walker but the rear tire was flat so I left it on the car. It was good to see all the old compatriots. Roger Jan, Jim Pyle and all the others. Lee was there with his Pietenol, which only served to remind me of all the kindnesses people have shown during my recovery. Deb and Rick, brother Bob and don't forget Kathy who went out and brought me a pair of shoes to walk outside the rehab center which I still wear daily.
Which brings me to a recent coincidence. Yesterday I stopped on the way home to buy some coffee, of which was out. I went to pay but realize when I reached for my wallet that I had left it at home. I had not seen Homeland Security Agent Laura for a few days but there she was standing right in front of me. And kind enough to lend me $10 so I didn't have to go home and come back. Thank you.
It was heavy fog this morning on my walk. No airplanes and two cats way down the road which were gone by the time I got there.
