These pictures are all that is left of the Sound of Freedom, aside from the propeller. On the left is a section removed from the port side of the hull under the horizontal stabilizer. The right side is a closeup of the registration plate and Dave Browning's signature. Dave Browning, bless his heart, painted the plane during the hottest part of the summer. It was 103 degrees out and Dave painted away without air conditioning. And I had to coax him to sign it. Rembrandt signed his work. Why not Dave? I apologize again to Dave for destroying his beautiful artwork.
Recalling the sound of the Sound of Freedom sounds like we're all on this flight together.
