Yesterday I drove down to Costa Mesa to see the trains of the Orange County Model Engineers run their trains. They are hauling people. The cars are magnificent, every bit the youngsters of their grand daddies. They have about 3 miles of track through the park. The tracks are about 12" apart. Birds and squirrels are abundant.
The photo is of one of the model steam trains shuffling along the track.
The video is of one of steam trains leaving the station , whistle and all. I did ride one of the trains but were prohibited from taking photos while the train was moving for some reason.
Steam trains are proof that we're all on this flight together.
