Mushrooms and quantum computers.

The day started out as overcast with drizzle in the forecast. Today I present two pictures. One is of a cat I've seen a number of times recently. He never runs away but never comes to visit either. Aloof but aware. The second is of a new variety of mushroom. Less uniform physically but with a more uniform color. And they all appeared overnight. This raises the question of whether Mother Nature makes some 'shrooms attractive and hallucinogenic and others less attractive and poisonous.

I've been reading a book about the Universe as a computer. This shows the universe as a giant quantum computer which calculates everything at once. Sounds wacky but is scientifically verified. One of the possibilities it raises is that having showed multi universes, the possibility of jumping from one universe into another is there. Lots of questions fewer answers to these questions.
Quantum computers boggle my mine far enough to believe that we're all on this flight together.
