OK OK. I missed yesterday. It's been a boring weekend.
I did spot a plane on this mornings walk. How could I miss it? Not only did it pass overhead but the weather was such that I could see 100 miles. Warm with a clear blue sky. It doesn't get any better than this. The cats have taken to sleeping outdoors. They bolt out after they eat dinner and refuse to come in when I call. But Budda manages to find his way in at 5 am to let me know they're hungry!
The confirmation hearing for the next Supreme Court Justice has begun. They could do it in half the time if they were to cut out "introductory speeches" which are no more than ideological screeds by both sides. She's too much a corporate hack for me but she's infinitely better than "Ditto" Thomas.
Warm weather is Proof by Definition (We define it to be true) that we're all on this flight together.
