There are no good anti war songs.

A correction. My sense of time has once again been displaced. The Chino Airshow, to which I referred yesterday will held next week end not this week end. Maybe I can find some Taiko around.
I took off on my walk this morning to the dulcet tones of Joan Baez singing a couple of anti-war songs. Which set me off on a silent rant. There are no good anti war songs because of the way the tragic parts of the war were hidden from view. Out of sight out of mind. The direct line from Ira Hayes (whom I've referenced in this blog before) to why GWB should be prosecuted for war crimes flashed through my mind. I could go on for hours but 'nough said here. But I got so distracted that I missed the ant column and had to turn back to see a few stragglers lining up across the sidewalk. Well, all good things must end.
If I can find some Taiko this week end it will verify that we're all on this flight together.
