Oh boy! It was a chore to just get around the block this am.
The bad news is that the trail of ants I've been observing for the last month is all but gone. There are a few stray ants on the sidewalk but nothing one could call a trail. Ahhhhh. This too will change.
The photo on the left is of a Peashooter. It is no more than a large engine in the smallest body possible. This is a plane designed early in WWII.
On the right is the P-51D, the highest form of the fighter plane achieved in WWII. What a shame such a beautiful machine was designed to destroy things. Both are from the flying collection of the Planes of Fame museum in Chino.
Planes like the Peashooter prove that we're all on this flight together..
