Political Mission Statements.

The picture is the black and white cat I mentioned yesterday. I couldn't get the photo in yesterday for technical reasons (I couldn't get the damned thing in). So here he is sitting politely.
Lately I've been hearing right wing bloviators calling for bipartisan ship. What they seem to mean is to take what they want to the exclusion of everything else, including good sense. Logically, one could construct a Mission Statement defining the objective with great specificity. Then changes or amendments must be shown to move the bill towards the objectives of the Mission Statement. Otherwise, into the trash bin. It's just what any sane corporation would do. Right wing or Left wing, the only question is: Does it move the bill towards or away from the Mission Statement? Speed legislation.
Mission Statements are proof that we're all on this flight together.
