Right in front of all of us!

I've outlined the area where nearly all of the mushrooms I've seen over the years have occurred in the picture on the right. For what it's worth. At the present time there is nary a trace of mushrooms. The weather must be wrong or whatever the trigger is is not triggering the fruiting of the 'shrooms.
On the left is John Colyer flying an aerobatic routine in his cherried out AT-6. The AT stood for advanced trainer. This was the first plane our Army Air Corps training cadets flew with a retractable gear and a constant speed prop. This was the plane in which they first received combat (aerobatic) maneuvering experience. This plane was designated by the US Navy pilots as the SNJ. The Canadians called it the Harvard. All the same. In the photo he is at the bottom of a loop and has just completed a snap roll, the smoke of which is clearly visible. Right in front of all of us! In spite of the wind.
A erobatics in the wind is proof that we're all on this flight together.
